Game highlights coming in and so far we have a couple good ones !!!.
Thursdays January 27th games certainly proved to be a challenge having a cool temperature to start the games and a breeze just strong enough to play havoc on some hits and throws.
Coaches, keep those highlights coming in and be sure to forward them to Jim for his Newspaper write-ups.
Highlights for Lakeside Dermatology for Thursday, January 22nd:
Great defense by Curt Glassman at short and Rod Lee at rover.
Vince Ferrer had three hits.
Job Amor had two hits and turned a nice double play from 2nd.
Highlights for Lakeside for Tuesday, January 27th:
Curt Glassman hitting and defense at short.
Jim 'Woody' Wood hitting and defense at rover.
Lou Carman also had an RBI.
Ellis Howard pitched well.

Battle of the AUTO Teams
Thursday January 22: Alan Jay Auto won over McPhail's Auto 25-18. Don Dobbert led the way with 5 hits while Ron Barts was a perfect 4-4 plus a walk and 4 runs scored. Steve Russell, Ken Lloyd and Dave Conrad each had 4 hits also. Everyone in the lineup scored. The win keeps Alan Jay in first place at 5-0.
A Perfect Start through 6 Games...
Tuesday, January 27: Alan Jay Auto defeated Lakeside Dermatology 29-8 to bring their record to 6-0. Dan Slot led the way with 5-5 and 2 homeruns. Mike Martino, Steve Smutnick and Ken Lloyd each went 5-5. Smutnick was outstanding in the outfield with 4 long putouts and Terry Avery pitched a great game. Eddie Tei and Jeff Myers each chipped in with a 4-4 day. Dick Cook also scored 4 runs and played his usual strong showing at shortstop.
